Excellent product at an exceptional price. We purchased 10 dining chairs. Efficient shipping, nicely packed, relatively easy to assemble.
We purchased the 72" Sturbridge TV Stand. We are super happy with the quality of the furniture and packing. UFW also provided excellent service, communicating appropriately, and delivery time (within a week). My one complaint is the cost of shipping. The initial shipping cost quoted was more than the furniture itself. The website indicates you can request a quote, which I did, and it was still more than $200. UFW should find a way to save costs on shipping, considering other options that offer free delivery. Shipping costs aside, we are very happy with the furniture and service.
Really happy with my first purchase of 3 small side tables. Be sure to watch the company’s prep video. I’m doing a stain/paint combo & only one small area needed a little extra sanding beyond the basics to absorb stain evenly. After a little xtra sanding it looks perfect. The photo below is my AI mock up, but the real thing looks just as good! Great value & great customer service. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer.
I ordered a pedestal table base with extension, pre-finished. My order shipped out in just a few days and arrived a about 4 days later. The table base was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition.
I assembled the base (attached the legs) and added my table top. Things couldn't have gone smoother. The fit and finish of the base was flawless. The base is very well built, especially when you consider the price.
After all was said and done, I decided I didn't like my tabletop on the base so I ordered a pre-finished 36" tabletop from Unfinished Furniture of Wilmington over the weekend. Once the top arrives I will post an update and photo.

I’m really glad I came in here on a whim. They had exactly what I’ve been looking for but couldn’t find at dozens of other shops and websites. Plus, I can customize the color to what I had in mind. The two owners are some of the nicest people you could meet and were helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. This is easily the most cost-effective way of buying new furniture, by a lot. I ordered 2 pieces from here and they shipped from NC to MA! The custom dresser I ordered is the nicest piece of furniture in my home and I can't wait to give it to my future grandchildren in 50 years because the quality is so nice. You really cannot beat handmade solid wood furniture, and UFOW is the place to get it. I only wish I lived closer so I could drop by and pick things up more regularly.

Highly recommended is you are in need of “real” solid wood furniture on a budget, we’ve priced furniture for our master bedroom at several big box stores and the prices are unmatched, we got this 10 drawer unfinished dress for and 2, 3 drawer night stands all for $1499. If you are down for a project, it’s easy as 1,2,3! The quality is very good! Solid wood all the way around!! Built to LAST!
Comes with everything you need expect stain or color of choice to paint it. It comes with anti tipping hardware and all the drawer pulls, I opted out and purchased some off Amazon. I’m so impressed with my dressers now. I have so many people asking where they are from they look high end, and I can’t stop staring. 😍
They even helped my husband load it all up, they have most furniture in stock or if they have to order anything the runaround time is quick!
Definitely stop by and take a look, friendly staff not pushy. They answer all the questions with a smile on their face. We love Unfinished Furniture of Wilmington!

We moved away from Wilmington but remembered the store and found that their selection and prices were better than any alternative we could find near our current home.
