Unfinished Furniture of Wilmington knows how important the security of your personal information, so please read and understand our full privacy policy below:

Customers agree to these following conditions upon completion of any order whether that order is being shipped or is being picked up from our store located in Wilmington NC:

IF YOUR FURNITURE IS NOT IN STOCK, NORMAL TIME OF DELIVERY (UNFINISHED) IS USUALLY THREE WEEKS OR LESS FROM PURCHASE FOR YOUR FURNITURE TO ARRIVE. IF FINISHING IS INVOLVED, FROM THE TIME WE RECEIVE IT, AN ADDITIONAL FOUR WEEKS OR LESS IS NEEDED TO COMPLETE YOUR CUSTOM FINISHING. WE WILL WORK VERY HARD TO WORK WITHIN THESE TIME FRAMES AND HOPEFULLY WILL COMPLETE THE ORDER IN A SHORTER PERIOD OF TIME THAN STATED. IN AN OCCURANCE THAT YOUR ORDER TIME EXCEEDS THE PERIOD STATED ABOVE, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO COMPLETE YOUR ORDER AS AGREED IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME EXCEEDING THE PERIOD(S) LISTED ABOVE. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT WITH ANY SPECIAL ORDER THAT IS PLACED WITH US THAT IS CANCELLED, TO RETAIN ANY AND ALL DEPOSITS MADE, TO DEFER OUR RESTOCKING, HANDLING, AND SHIPPING COSTS.
WE TAKE EVERY PRECAUTION THAT THE QUALITY OF THE MANUFACTURE WITH YOUR FURNITURE IS OF THE HIGHEST DEGREE. OUR MANUFACTURERS RECOGNIZE YOUR SPECIAL ORDER AS SUCH, AND EXTRA QUALITY CONTROL IS INSURED. IN THE RARE EVENT OF ANY DISCREPENCY OR CUSTOMER DISSATISFACTION, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE EVERY ATTEMPT TO CORRECT THIS DISCREPENCY OR DISSATISFACTION.

We use 3rd party companies to ship our orders, so they have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may NOT use it for other purposes.

If your order is shipped via Freight, there are strict guidelines that are followed by ALL of the shipping companies that we use:
The delivery driver is only required to deliver your order 'Curbside', and is NOT required to enter your house, unpack or install your furniture. They may enter your garage or carport however. Should you require any extra services, such as unpack and installation, you MUST inform us beforehand, as the shipping companies ALL charge extra for these services. On occasion. a driver may offer to do this for you, and if this occurs, and we are NOT informed beforehand, we may charge your credit card with any additonal fees passed onto us by the shipping company concerned.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT ON RESIDENTIAL DELIVERIES, THE SHIPPING COMPANY WILL CALL YOU TO SET UP A DELIVERY APPOINTMENT. THIS APPOINTMENT WILL CONSIST OF A TIME FRAME WHICH CAN BE ANYTHING UP TO A SIX HOUR WINDOW.
Please make sure, that when you receive your order, that you thoroughly inspect all items for any signs of damage. Check packaging for rips, tears etc... before signing.

Should you notice ANY damage or have any questions on what to do, please call us immediately on: 910 399 2276, BEFORE YOU SIGN FOR YOUR DELIVERY!

IF YOU CHOSSE TO PICK UP YOUR ORDER FROM OUR STORE LOCATED IN WILMINGTON NORTH CAROLINA, BUT ARE NOT A RESDIENT OF NORTH CAROLINA, YOU WILL STILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY ANY APPLICABLE SALES TAX, TO ABIDE BY CURRENT NORTH CAROLINA LAWS AT THE CURRENT SALES TAX RATE.

Unfinished Furniture of Wilmington will release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with law; enforce or apply our conditions of use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of the Unfinished Furniture of Wilmington, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.With Your Consent: Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when information about you might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.
If you wish to cancel an order, please email us at customerservice@solidwoodnc.com. Please be aware that fees may be applied if you order is already in transit.

All returns require a RAN (Returns Authorization Number) and will NOT be accepted without one. Please email us at customerservice@solidwoodnc.com, within 7 days of receipt of your shipment. You may return any product, for a full refund, but any shipping will only be covered should the reason for return be an error on our behalf, or is authorized beforehand. You are responsible for all shipping fees otherwise. All returns, unless stated otherwise will be subject to a re-stocking fee, at our discretion, and this fee will be clearly stated with any request for return, and varies depending on the item(s).

Items are not returnable if they are in un-sellable condition, or are missing parts, and/or damaged. We do not take returns on custom finish items. We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days of our receiving your return. You will be given full instructions on how to return your item(s) with the RAN. All payments are in advance, with a 50% deposit required for any special orders, and are by credit card, check or cash.

Unfinished Furniture of Wilmington make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of this site or the information, content, materials, or products included on this site. You expressly agree that the use of this site is at your sole risk. To the full extent permissible by applicable law, Unfinished Furniture of Wilmington disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for particular purpose. Unfinished Furniture of Wilmington does not warrant that this site, its servers, or email sent from the Unfinished Furniture of Wilmington are free from viruses or other harmful components. Unfinished Furniture of Wilmington will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages .Certain state laws do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of certain damages.
