About the 1523 Alder McKenzie Bookcase:

This classic bookcase is a staple for every home. 

It is made from quality materials, including sustainably-sourced American Alder hardwoods in order to ensure durability and longevity.  

The spacious shelves provide creativity and versatility , allowing you to display your favorite pieces.

This unit has 4 adjustable shelves, and a fitted back.

Additionally, it includes a tipping restraint for extra stability.

It comes fully assembled and is available unfinished or in the following  finish options:

•  Stained (Glazed Antique Cherry, Caffe, Fieldstone, Hazelnut, Natural Alder, Pecan, and Java)
•  Select Sherwin Williams® paint (Snowbound, Aged White, Silverplate, or Tricorn Black)
• Two-tone finish

All two-tone finishes will feature the paint color of your choosing on the outside and the clear natural Alder finish on the inside and the shelves.

Only the painted finishes are available for the two-tone option.

Shipping Information:

Since this bookcase (1523) ships assembled, it is too large for both UPS and FedEx.

As a result, it is much safe shipping on a pallet via freight carrier.

For a shipping quote, proceed to checkout and select the “R+L Carriers” option under shipping.

We also offer FREE local pickup at our Wilmington, NC location.

Custom Molding Options:

The 1523 McKenzie bookcases, can be flush cut at no additional charge.

To request a flush cut, please specify the following in the comment section at checkout:

• For the crown to be flush cut on the left, specify “FCL” or “Flush Cut Left”.
• For the crown to be flush cut on the right, specify “FCR” or Flush Cut Right”.
• For the crown to be flush cut on both sides, specify “FCB” or “Flush Cut Both”.
